Karlstad, Sweden – February 26, in the year of our Lord 2025 – Clear River Games, a video game publisher specialising in classic and retro games, in conjunction with TATSUJIN, a leading Japanese developer, announced today that the 1994 arcade classic is set to debut on console for the very first time, when Snow Bros. 2 Special snowballs into action on Nintendo® Switch™ from April 10, 2025!

Originally released in the arcades by legendary developers TOAPLAN, Snow Bros. 2 was an instant fan favourite, captivating audiences thanks to its non-stop, multi-player action. Remade for modern gamers, Snow Bros. 2 Special finally makes its way to console more than thirty years later, introducing a host of bold, cold new features, enhancing the classic yet further! Finally, a new generation of gamers are invited to get their thrills and chills, discovering the frenzy, humour and tight gameplay that defined a generation of arcade fans.

In proud gaming tradition, a kidnapped princess launches our heroes into action, battling across six ever more challenging worlds, comprising multiple fiendish stages, each guarded by a boss intent on freezing your progress for good!

It’s not going to be a breeze, but in Snow Bros. 2 Special, the brothers have backup, as four players can take on the countless minions together in multi-player mayhem that will keep you coming back for more!
