The video game industry has slowly been
crawling out of the dark ages of video game violence, and improving a
horrible public image. School shooter, road rage, air rage, school rage,
work rage, selfishness and addiction have dogged the industry for
decades. So it is nice to find video games that improve that image and
help us improve our lives. Active Life Explorer on the Wii. Namco Bandai
is the intelligent creator of Active Life Explorer. A play mat comes
with Active Life Explorer and is integral to the game play of this home
console instant classic.
Active Life Explorer is a mixture of exercise and video game excitement.
In fact I feel this Wii game may be the best blending I have seen in
many years. Families get to go on a treasure hunt across diverse
landscapes and activities. The ESRB bestowed an 'E' for Everyone with
Cartoon Violence being the only descriptor. I plan on getting a review
in an upcoming issue of Family Friendly Gaming. Until then know that
Active Life Explorer is one of the good games on the market.
