Rooms the Main Building
I work quite a few hours trying to find interesting games for families that have not come across the main news wire. Rooms The Main Building for the Nintendo DS is one of those games. First off it comes from Hudson Entertainment who has had some major hits for families. The Kororinpa series comes to mind. Rooms The Main Building is also on the Wii, but I am only previewing the hand held version at this time. This is a puzzle game where a talking book helps you along. Yeah, okay so this game is a little quirky. Rooms The Main Building also contains some Matrix references in terms of using a telephone to transport. Players move rooms around on the screen to get to the exit. Climbing ladders, swapping rooms, teleporting around, and blowing up walls are some of the things players get to do in this DS puzzle game. The graphics are dark, but that is just tone, and not in theme. I hope to get a review of Rooms The Main Building in a future of issue of Family Friendly Gaming. Thus far I feel I have gotten my money's worth out of Rooms The Main Building. The ESRB bestowed an 'E' for Everyone rating with Mild Violence as the only descriptor. {01/30/2011} - Paul
