Asphalt Injection

Asphalt Injection

Right after the Playstation Vita launch we were drowning in titles. This little hand held had a very good launch. But then things died down - a lot. I was scrambling to try and find anything worth covering on the PS Vita. I ran across Asphalt Injection. Plumped down the money and purchased this racing game from Ubisoft. There are forty-five licensed vehicles in Asphalt Injection. This hand held game will also shake things up for the player. Some of those are good and some of them are bad. Things like regular races and elimination races are fun. But having to destroy so many other vehicles in a race is stomach turning.

Asphalt Injection looks amazing. I am not thrilled about bashing into other cars and seeing that in slow motion. The boost speed special effects are really neat. Up to eight players can compete in Asphalt Injection - but expect to run across players better than you. Playing the game will earn you in-game cash. That can be spent on things like faster vehicles. They have to be unlocked first, so the farther you get in career mode the better. The controls are good in Asphalt Injection. I wish there was a little more strategy in this Vita game. The main goal is to power up the boost and then use it. Not using the boost will result in a loss. Expect a full review to appear in a future issue of Family Friendly Gaming. Shooting for issue #59 right now.
