LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet has been a favorite of the team here at Family Friendly Gaming for some years now. so when we were offered the opportunity to preview this franchise on the PS Vita - we were all over it. All of the Play, Create, and Share content will be found in this hand held gem. We are on a mission to save the people on the planet Carnivalia. The mysterious Puppeteer is stealing all of the joy from the inhabitants. We go on a quest to free them. Along the way we find stickers, play little arcade games, and modify our Sackboy. Ambitious gamers can create their own levels and share them with their friends. Or anyone out there.

LittleBigPlanet looks fantastic. The graphics in this PS Vita game are astounding. Extremely bright and colorful. We can stomp on the heads of enemies to make them go away, or we can avoid them. Players are presented with a choice in many cases. Bosses have to be taken out, so they are the one exception to that rule. The narrator had me in stitches on multiple occurrences. Expect this little title to be released September 25, in the year of our Lord 2012. The ESRB has bestowed an 'E' for Everyone rating with descriptors Comic Mischief, and Mild Cartoon Violence (per the website). This may change before the final product is released.

I expect LittleBigPlanet on the PS Vita to be an exceptional title. My PS Vita has been collecting dust so it is nice to have something fun to play on it again. Family Friendly Gaming was provided a preview download code for this preview. I am thankful Sony provided that to us, and thankful that they took the time to publish this hand held video game. I can see millions receiving months of pleasure from LittleBigPlanet in the coming months and years. Various controls in LittleBigPlanet feel completely natural.
