The Perfect Gift
The Perfect Gift can invoke all of these
topics and more. A little girl is irritated that her birthday is on
Christmas. Everyone else is celebrating Christmas while she is focused
on herself. She learns about Christmas from a drifter who is very
knowledgeable. This drifter Jess is helping a local church with building
a manger scene. He inspires those around himself, and teaches them
important truths from God's word. The Perfect Gift teases that Jess may
actually be Jesus. But we know Jesus does not come back until He is
finished preparing a place for us.
Family Friendly Gaming was provided an early screening of The Perfect
Gift. It is an amazingly powerful movie with a couple of wonderful
songs. The Perfect Gift does take a bit to get going, but once it does
it works. The Perfect Gift reminds all of us of the true meaning of
Christmas. God does not force his love on any of us. It is amazing that
those who want to silence Christians are the ones trying to force
something. All the while they complain about others imposing their
beliefs.
