Guinness World Records 2013 Gamers Edition

Right after Christmas Family Friendly Gaming was blessed with a copy of Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition. This is a very interesting book. There are all kinds of fascinating facts related to the video game industry. There are also some strange things that I am still trying to puzzle out. Reading through Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition shocked me. I could not believe how many hours some people devoted to making records in certain games. At times I wondered if some people needed to get a life, and find a way to help others instead of the gluttony on certain games.

I am still baffled as why so many new games, and so many games that have not been released are in Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition. Are companies paying money to be included? Reading through that section did not show any records related to those games whatsoever. Same with the rah rah section on certain systems that were released. I would expect this from certain other gaming magazines, but not from Guinness World Records. Expect a lot of worldliness from Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition as well.

Large sections of Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition are not family friendly. There are images of violence, blood, gore, and enticement to lust. Hardcore gamers who care nothing about family values will eat up Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition. There is no family friendly section in Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition, and no mention of Family Friendly Gaming. The closest is the casual section. Some of the worst games are glorified in Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition, especially in their TOP 50 sections.

Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition does a wonderful job of bringing games from the past into the present. The mixing of current and retro games blends together really well. Guinness World Records 2013 Gamer's Edition retails for $14.99 in the United States of America, and $16.99 in Canada.
