New Super Mario Bros U
I recently
broke down and purchased New Super Mario Bros U on the Wii U. This game
is selling for sixty dollars brand new still. I was able to pick it up
for a little bit less than that thankfully. Do I feel like I paid too
much money? I hope to answer that question in the full review when it
appears in a future issue of the Family Friendly Gaming magazine.
Families can play New Super Mario Bros U with Wii Remotes or the Wii U
Gamepad. The television set can be turned off and players can look at
the game on the Wii U Gamepad.
I have a few questions I am pondering as I play New Super Mario Bros U.
How original will the game be? Is this just more rehash from Nintendo at
a high dollar cost? What new things are brought to the New Super Mario
Bros franchise? What are some of the same things? Is it worth the price
of admission? Is New Super Mario Bros U a system seller? How will
families feel about New Super Mario Bros U? How is New Super Mario Bros
U received here at Family Friendly Gaming? All of these questions and
more will be addressed in issue #69 of Family Friendly Gaming.
The squirrel suit is an interesting power up in New Super Mario Bros U.
It allows players to glide from high places to lower places. Crossing
large gaps is attainable thanks to this new power up. Star coins make
their return as do many of the same worlds. Being able to avoid levels
and worlds is now extremely easy in New Super Mario Bros U. Expect a
wide array of secrets in New Super Mario Bros U.
