Forza Horizon 2

Forza Horizon 2

Let me share a little secret with all ya'll. We receive many video games every single year. Companies want us to do all this work sharing our thoughts and feelings about their products. They want us to make them all kinds of money. They never thank us financially for all that money. So I can get cynical. I also rarely want to go back to any product after we have reviewed it. We look at it like this - we reviewed your game, we are done covering it. The book is closed. There are plenty of others who have been waiting in line with varying degrees of patience. Forza Horizon was one of the few video games I went back and played again after the review.

So I was very excited to hear the official announcement from Microsoft concerning Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Forza Motorsport 5 has its positives. But compared to Forza Horizon it is lacking in so many important areas - like areas to drive in, and race tracks. I am very hopeful that Forza Horizon 2 will be as good as the first game. I also hope Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games will bring the content in Forza Horizon 2 down to the 'E' for Everyone rating, or at least 'E10+' for Everyone 10 and older. I would like this home console racing game to be accessible to more members of the family.
