David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale

David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale

I took a little break from playing sports video games to play David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale on the iPhone. This downloadable only interactive storybook is also on the iPad. There is an interesting story behind how Family Friendly Gaming found out about David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale on the iOS. It started with one of those dreaded social media websites that is making so much money off of people sharing every little thought that comes into their heads. Yeah I won't use them either. Normally the EIC wants nothing to do with those sites. Like he says: "why should we make them wealthy to be spammed and advertised to all the time?" The staffer that posted on one of those sites thought enough of David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale to get the rest of us involved. We were promised it was a completely free app that we could play. I expected ads or all kinds of in app purchases. You know the repeat pay to play games.

David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale is neither of those. In fact it is not even a free app. It is a free trial. Families can download David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale for free. They get a sample of the first chapter and then need to pay $2.99 to finish off the game. I was shown the social media conversation - a redeem code was requested and they were told we do not need one. Well that got awkward fast didn't it? This is why I am doing a preview instead of a review. I do not like being tricked into purchasing something. I played what I could and am now done with David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale. Which is a shame because David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale shows some real promise. There are numerous achievements on each screen. There are also interesting and fun mini games in David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale. Sure they are a bit simplistic, but what can you really expect on the iOS platform.

David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale tells the story of David. There is plenty of humor and quirky animations. There is also violence in David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale. Remember David takes down Goliath, and fights off various animals. The voice acting is good in David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale. I still believe someone like our own EIC could do a great job as a voice actor. Too bad fellow believers do not give him a shot. They just come to us to make them money. Do you think they will share with us? Time will tell if they pay heed to James 5:4. David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale pokes fun at a variety of historical figures from the Holy Bible. Some may find this sacrilegious. If you are sensitive to this, then definitely pass on David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale. I found the humor in David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale to be a bit too much at times. A bit too thick. All in all David vs. Goliath - A Righteous Tale is an interesting interactive story book that has a lot of fun.
