Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive

Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive

I am thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a CD of Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive from Rural Rhythm. This CD contains twelve songs. They are To Be A Kid Again, I Think I'll Let You Drive, I've Got To Work On The Ark, The Letters, There's A Record Book, Mama's In The Sweet By & By, Pages Of Time, The Man In Those Shoes, My Rock, Love God, The Colors That Never Ran, and Oh I Want To See Him. The country songs are deep with Tammy's great vocals. There are some songs on the Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive CD that have a bluegrass twinge to them. She feels more country to me though. Which is my personal favorite genre of music.

Some of the lessons on the Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive CD are how much fun it is to be a kid, wishing we could be a kid again, how much we need Jesus, turning things over to God, complete the job before you, God is with us, how Jesus saved the sinners, old letters can bring back memories, focusing on what is really important, things of the world are not important, confidence that a loved one is in heaven, how great the past was, men have a tough life, men make sacrifices for their families, how God keeps us centered, what we want for our kids, how important the American flag is, and how much we want to see Jesus.

Some of my personal favorite songs on the Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive CD are To Be A Kid Again, I've Got To Work On The Ark, Mama's In The Sweet By & By, and The Man In Those Shoes. I like how there is a really good faith theme in the songs on the Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive. There are enough fast songs for my personal tastes. The Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive CD makes me think of the core of America, especially the Bible belt. The Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive makes me think of the war on men, and all of the attempts to redefine things. Why? Because Tammy Jones Robinette & The Drive honors the wonderful things from the heart of America.
