Madden NFL 17
I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming
rented a copy of Madden NFL 17 on the Xbox One. The PR and Marketing
contacts for EA were unable to respond to emails and the massive amount
of coverage Family Friendly Gaming gave this mediocre sports video game.
There have been plenty of changes this year. Most of them for the bad
unfortunately. The defense feels broken. Offensive linemen have been
made extremely powerful. Like in retro Madden games. In fact Madden NFL
17 feels like a nice looking retro version of the game since so many old
school things were brought back.
Madden NFL 17 is too online heavy again. The Rams intro game is
interesting. The franchise mode is adequate. I like the vibrant colors.
I just wish the game play of Madden NFL 17 was not broken so badly. The
presentation in Madden NFL 17 is better than previous games. Which is of
course a small part of the game. The kicking has returned to the bar and
press the 'A' button (Xbox One/Xbox 360 versions) from older Madden
video games. I am not a fan of the kicking. I do like being able to
block the kicks now. That is pretty cool. It is shown in the video
Family Friendly Gaming did of Madden NFL 17.
I plan on having a review of Madden NFL 17 in issue #111 of the Family
Friendly Gaming e-magazine. I hope all ya'll enjoy the video we did of
Madden NFL 17. It is in the Family Friendly Gaming Videos section and on
our Youtube channel. Madden NFL 17 is on the Xbox 360, Xbox One,
Playstation 3, and Playstation 4. In my opinion the running has been
made way too powerful. Passing is now a gamble. Turn overs have been
cranked up way too high. If I had to buy Madden NFL 17 I would want to
pay fifteen to twenty dollars at most.
