Paper Mario Color Splash
I was so excited to play Paper Mario Color
Splash. I am so thankful Family Friendly Gaming purchased a copy of
Paper Mario Color Splash on the Wii U after the failures of the PR and
Marketing firm for Nintendo. They must have known we would find the
monster sized flaws in this home console paper based role playing video
game. Paper Mario Color Splash feels like Tearaway in quite a few parts.
The graphical look, the way we manipulate the backgrounds and more.
Nintendo has been known to borrow heavily from others. Paper Mario Color
Splash is another example of a franchise receiving one new wrinkle and
feeling like previous games.
The 2D paper characters in 3D areas generally works. It can be hard to
gauge certain jumps in Paper Mario Color Splash though. I value Paper
Mario Color Splash at fifteen dollars brand new. If you can get into
this game then there is enough game play to warrant that price. Paper
Mario Color Splash is a tough game to get into though. This game drags
on like the loading screens. Battles are not much fun in Paper Mario
Color Splash. In fact I wanted to get through them as fast as possible.
I also wanted to use as few cards as possible. Paper Mario Color Splash
punishes players by getting rid of unused cards instead of putting them
back in our deck. Paper Mario Color Splash has a bit of a Yu-Gi-Oh feel
to it with the cards. I wish there were basic jump and hammer attacks
without cards.
