Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 contains
multiplayer areas, multiple real skaters, your own character
customization, and multiple missions in each area. I wish Tony Hawk's
Pro Skater 5 let players progress after beating a couple of the
missions. Some of the missions in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 are near
impossible to figure out. Do not expect much help from this game in how
to beat them either. There is a tutorial in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5,
but that does not help complete some of the more difficult missions. I
wish Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 let families skip missions and see the
next area.
I had to turn the music off in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. The ugly, mean,
hate filled music are what gives it the thirteen and older ESRB rating.
The ESRB missed the violence and gore in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. What
kind of gore? A characters head can expand and then explode off the
body. There is also the violence of crashing and seeing the characters
body flop around in stomach turning ways. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is
not a game for kids. It is extremely difficult and contains content I
would not want any children exposed to. That is my opinion.
I hope to have a review of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 in issue #107 of the
absolutely awesome Family Friendly Gaming e-magazine. Until then the
plummeting price of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 should key you into the
reality this skating game is one families need to pass on. There are so
many better game play experiences on the market. If you don't believe me
there is a link to purchase the game on this page.
