WWE 2K16
I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming
rented a copy of WWE 2K16 on the Playstation 4. This home console video
game can also be found on the Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and
Personal Computer. I can only speak for the Playstation 4 version of WWE
2K16. I hope to have a review of WWE 2K16 done and ready for Family
Friendly Gaming #106. That is the May in the year of our Lord 2016 issue
of the always awesome Family Friendly Gaming e-magazine. I do think the
franchise is going the wrong direction. Another year goes by and we get
small changes. I guess the publisher and the developers are not
listening to the improvements we have been asking for - for years now.
Maybe that is why the publisher's PR and Marketing departments
completely failed Family Friendly Gaming Universe. It does go hand in
hand with the failure that is WWE 2K16.
One area WWE 2K16 succeeded in is providing a nice roster of
professional wrestlers. We even get to play with older wrestlers who no
longer perform in the squared circle. Some of the wrestlers in WWE 2K16
are retired, and others are even dead. The run-in during the entrance of
the other wrestler is now available in WWE 2K16. It is nice to see this
feature make its way back into a wrestling video game. If you have
follow the WWE reviews we have done in the past then you should have
some idea where WWE 2K16 will fall. The focus on Stone Cold Steve Austin
means WWE 2K16 is not as family friendly as the previous version. Which
sadly was not very family friendly itself. It is like watching someone
fall down a slippery slope.
