Hasbro Family Game Night 3

Today is one of those days I am so very thankful I get to work at Family Friendly Gaming. Why? Today is the day I am getting to review Hasbro Family Game Night 3 for the Wii. I have been playing this fantastic home console game the last few nights. I am amazed at how much family fun has been put into this product. The board games included this time are Clue, Life, Yahtzee Hands Down, Twister, and Mouse Trap. Family members use their Miis to play Hasbro Family Game Night 3.

The graphics in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 are perfect for each of these interactive board games. Mr Potato Head gets to wear all kinds of different outfits which result in laughter. The incorporation of the Miis is perfect for Hasbro Family Game Night 3. The special effects in this Wii game are above and beyond what I was expecting. Twister has some dancing, Mouse Trap will catch the mice, and Life has some things like kissing. None of this bothered me, nor did it bother others I showed it to. It is all done in a tasteful way.

The music in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 is great. It got me pumped up to start playing some games. There are some excellent games in this compilation as well. The special effect sounds in Hasbro Family Game Night 3 are absolutely awesome. Especially in a game like Life. I appreciate how much attention to detail the developers put into this game. Each game has a different feel to it, and they all fit their respective themes.

Hasbro Family Game Night 3 includes five fantastic family friendly board games. How much would it cost to purchase each of these? What happens when you lose a piece or two? EA did not stop with duplication of these games though, they also included a remix mode. The remix mode is like an entirely different game. Hasbro Family Game Night 3 contains a nice amount of unlockable content. Due to all of this I feel that Hasbro Family Game Night 3 is worth the price of admission.

I had no problems with the controls. In fact there is a great ease of use to the controls in Hasbro Family Game Night 3. Everyone who played Hasbro Family Game Night 3 had a blast. Clue, Life, and Mouse Trap are upper echelon board games. Twister is more of a memorization and timing game. Yahtzee Hands Down is fun. Four members of the family can enjoy these games at the same time. Which can be used to promote some family time.

At first I was a little surprised to realize this franchise had made it to three. The more I talked to Yolanda about it, the more she made me realize why. EA has found a fantastic formula. Hasbro Family Game Night 3 has great games in it, and there is all kinds of additional content. Families can spend hours enjoying time together, playing this great games. I do not know what board games are left, but I hope to see this franchise continue. It was my personal pleasure to be able to play and review Hasbro Family Game Night 3.

Family Friendly Gaming was given a reviewable copy of Hasbro Family Game Night 3 on the Wii. This game is also on the Xbox 360, and Playstation 3. Please note that the review was tailored for the experience on the Wii. There will be slight variations for the other two versions.

{UPDATE} Hasbro Family Game Night 3 will add computer player(s) if there are not enough human characters for the game. Games like Clue can be played with one human, and one computer character, or one human and two computer characters, or two humans, or two humans and one computer character. Hasbro Family Game Night 3 also allows for families to use one Wii Remote, and pass it around.
