My First Mote

Performance Designed Products or PDP for
short has been amassing an empire of really good products. While some
other companies may brag about being an industry leader, PDP keeps
producing fantastic products. Take My First Mote for example. They
realized what a phenomenon the Wii has become. They also realized that
smaller children have problems using the Wii Remote.
What is their solution? My First Mote. Children have helped us test the
My First Mote. They absolutely adore the product. You know children,
they can be very opinionated. If they do not like something, they will
tell you. And tell you, and well you get the picture. This little Wii
Remote comes with four labels that contain different Disney Pixar Cars
images.
My First Mote is bright red so you can not lose it easily. The graphics
and color scheme are masterfully done. Even the wrist band has a flame
on it. A Lightning McQueen flame. The yellow large buttons contrast
nicely. The buttons are all big enough for the little hands. Even the
home button was super sized.
We have been playing with, dropping, and swinging around the My First
Mote. It is a durable little piece of hardware. We hoped it would be
since this is designed with children in mind. If you don't have kids
yet, you will learn someday. They drop things quicker than receivers in
the National Football League.
Changing the faceplates is pretty simple. Just make sure you get it
snapped back into place properly. Otherwise an accident may occur. The
slider on the wrist band was also designed with children in mind.
Nothing to snap on. It just slides back and forth. My First Mote
requires two triple A batteries. We were not able to use our recharging
peripherals with it.
I see hundreds of products each and every single year. My First Mote is
one of the good ones. I am very thankful that I was able to be able to
play with, test, and review My First Mote. I can expect this product to
last for the life of the Wii, and possibly into the Wii U. I am curious
see what PDP comes up with in the future.
