NCIS Based on the TV Series

Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy of NCIS Based on the TV Series on the Xbox 360. This game is also on the Personal Computer (PC), Playstation 3, and Wii. The interaction with the game gives it a definite PC feel. It is workable on the Xbox 360 though. This game is based on the television series, which you probably figured out from the full name of this game.

Characters from NCIS Based on the TV Series. They look extremely life like, and have great details. This is a crime mystery television show, and the home console game captures that. In fact the writers of the show wrote the story arc in this game. Being a crime show, players should expect certain things. Blood, dead bodies, and autopsy's. More on that last one later in the review.

There are also some females who could be wearing more clothes, or dressed better. There are also some verbal comments that could be taken as sexual innuendo. The most surprising part about NCIS Based on the TV Series is there are language issues. The ESRB missed that descriptor entirely. The language does fit into the 'T' for Teen rating though.

The screen has a cursor and the player must move that cursor around the screen to investigate things, log into systems, and check evidence. NCIS Based on the TV Series leaves nothing to chance. It explains in writing on the screen how to perform certain things. There are also verbal and written instructions on what to do next.

The hardest part about NCIS Based on the TV Series is the interrogations. Players must present the right clue that proves the suspect is lying. This means one thing - pay attention while collecting, and compiling the evidence. If a mistake is made, then the player must start the entire interrogation all over again.

Only one player can enjoy NCIS Based on the TV Series at a time. There are achievements. Fans of the show will enjoy the personalities of the character in this game. They put a lot of personality into NCIS Based on the TV Series. This felt like playing a real live criminal investigation. The creators of this game did a fantastic job in that regard.

NCIS Based on the TV Series is a game for the older members of the family only. The autopsy's are kept generally safe without showing a lot of content families will not want to see. Bear in mind you are dealing with criminals, murder, gambling, robbery, and more. The humor in NCIS Based on the TV Series stands out. Adults can enjoy NCIS Based on the TV Series after the kids have gone to bed.
