Pictionary
SCORE: 91
The Wii version of Pictionary works with
the uDraw GameTablet. This is one of those video games that works
perfectly with that peripheral. Family members can enjoy sketching on
the uDraw GameTablet and guessing what those chicken scratches are. THQ
has made Pictionary a lot of fun, and there is no mess to clean up
afterwards. Well at least in terms of the drawings.
The board game feel of Pictionary comes alive on the Wii thanks to this
home console video game. Certain signs will display the drawings from
previous questions. This can be embarrassing depending upon your
artistic skills. The presentation of the game board is awesome. I also
enjoyed seeing the animations of the pieces, and rolling of the dice.
The announcer is a lot of fun in Pictionary. He actually makes this Wii
game an experience. There is one key component to Pictionary. Players
need to look away when the clue is exposed. Cheaters will only make the
game no fun for everyone else. The sections are diverse, and the clues
all depend on the artist. I did not find any offensive language while
playing Pictionary on the Wii.
Pictionary includes three thousand clues. They rarely repeat, which
helps with the replay value. Pictionary includes three game modes -
Pictionary, Pictionary Mania, and Free Draw. Pictionary is one of those
games that can be played for months to come. I believe it is worth the
price of admission. We tested Pictionary on various ages, and all of
them enjoyed it.
The uDraw GameTablet is very easy to use. I am not the greatest artist
but others were able to discern my clues, and guess the answer. I should
add a high percentage of the time. Pictionary is a real family friendly
experience that is a lot of fun. Pictionary brings people together, and
is a way for some good clean fun. Rolling the dice is simple, and one of
the aspects of this game I really enjoyed.
I love to see games like Pictionary make it to store shelves. This Wii
game is safe for families, and a whole lot of fun. I would love to see
sequels to this franchise in the future. Pictionary on the Wii is the
best electronic version of this game I have ever played. I am so
thankful that Family Friendly Gaming was blessed with a reviewable copy
of this Wii game.
