Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides

I have personally seen all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. We have not had time to work reviews of them in. When an opportunity presented itself to review Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides on Blu-ray and DVD, we decided it was time to get our feet wet. Johnny Depp plays Captain Jack Sparrow. He is a pirate, a scoundrel, but seems to have a good heart. He schemes something fierce and he normally comes out smelling like roses. Probably due to his skills at improvising.

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is a very difficult film to place. Two of the major stars from the previous three are no longer a part of the franchise. There are some new characters like Captain Blackbeard. Mermaids and zombies make their appearances in this film as well. Although the 'zombies' were nothing like we have come to expect. The mermaids are vicious, and a part of ever single descriptor this movie has.

Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides includes a fun chase scene in London. Captain Jack Sparrow survives in a rather humorous fashion. It is obvious he plans certain parts of his escapes, and wings it during other parts. Penelope Cruz (plays Angelica Teach) joins the cast as a past love interest of Captain Jack. Their dialogue is always interesting. Why? Trying to get to the truth. Each wants something from the other but do not come out and speak plainly.

There are violent scenes in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Characters get stabbed, shot, burned to death, and more in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. There is also some enticement to lust in this film. I thought it was going to be worse personally. Some of the images in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides can be down right frightening. The mermaids are one example, but another is a character having their flesh stripped off by swirling water.

The music we have grown accustomed to is in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. I noticed a few instances of bad words. Thankfully the majority of this film is clean. They are still there, and Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides has earned its rating. I enjoyed the various lines the characters had in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Certain things are for adults only. For example Angelica tells Jack she is pregnant. She then reveals who the father is. Children do not need to be exposed to that.

I am very pleased that Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides has less drinking in it. At one point a character asks for a drink and is denied. That was refreshing for this series. I did not catch any rum jokes in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides either. What is even more surprising is Captain Barbossa is the one who denies the drink to Mr Gibbs.

There are a few bonus features on Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Please bear in mind Family Friendly Gaming was provided the Blu-ray + DVD package of this product. There is an audio commentary, Disney second screen, Bloopers of the Caribbean, Lego animated shorts of Captain Jack's Brick Tales. There are also previews of upcoming Disney products. The second screen is one of the more interesting concepts and I hope it catches on.

There are multiple groups after the same thing. Within those groups there are different motives. All of these things in play can lead to interesting places. Since I have seen three previous Pirates of the Caribbean movies I was expecting certain swerves. Other aspects of Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides are spelled out way before hand so we were expecting them. If I had to place Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides, I would put it above the first movie, and under the second and third. That is my personal opinion on where it would rank. I do feel that Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is one of the cleanest in the series for families.

I love what the Spanish did and say in Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. It is also wonderful that there is a missionary in this movie who is trying to save the souls of ruthless, disgusting, and vile criminals. Those under the age of thirteen are not adequately prepared to watch Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Depending on the maturity level you may want to wait even longer. As an adult I enjoyed parts of Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. Especially the humorous ones.

There are certain things left up in the air at the end of Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. I hope this franchise continues. It is an interesting universe to visit. I am thankful that Disney and the actors involved continue to produce films. It is my hope that Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides is the start of a new trilogy, and that the next movie will build off of, and improve upon.
