Asphalt 7 Heat is a racing game that
may become the new bar in racing games on the iPhone/iPodTouch/iPad.
This game does so many things right I barely know where to begin. The
graphics are great. I thought I was playing a Nintendo DS title, or
Nintendo 3DS without the 3D. The cars, tracks, backgrounds and more look
great in Asphalt 7 Heat.
Asphalt 7 Heat sounds great as well. The pumping and thumping music gets
players ready to put the pedal down to the metal. Players start in
training missions and learn about getting stars from racing. Those stars
will unlock additional content. Asphalt 7 Heat also includes money that
is collected while racing. This can be used to buy power ups and other
vehicles.
The downside to the beautiful graphics in Asphalt 7 Heat are the
crashes. This hand held video game likes to slow down and focus on it. I
want to get back on the track and try and do my best. I do not need a
game slowing things down to show me damage from a mistake I made. No
need to glorify the violence. Asphalt 7 Heat will also encourage us to
crash other cars. I avoided accidents as often as possible.
Asphalt 7 Heat is selling for ninety-nine cents. There are tons of
levels in this game. There are numerous vehicles, power ups, and
upgrades. Players will get their moneys worth out of Asphalt 7 Heat and
then some. One lame thing is Asphalt 7 Heat kept asking me to post
things on social sites. No thanks, I do not use those.
The controls are okay in Asphalt 7 Heat. They are better than I was
expecting. Three different control schemes so players can find what fits
them best. I still see Asphalt 7 Heat as being behind anything with a
controller. Maybe when Snakebyte USA releases their controller things
will improve in Asphalt 7 Heat. Or a port to a device with controllers.
I enjoyed the different goals/missions in Asphalt 7 Heat. This is a neat
feature on top of an already deep game. Asphalt 7 Heat is a large game,
so expect it to take up a lot of space. There has to be some price to
the music and beautiful graphics. I hope this franchise continues for
years to come. It is getting better.
