CatDog Season 2 Part 2
SCORE: 64
Nickelodeon ran some strange shows last
century. CatDog Season 2 Part 2 comes to us from 1999. Shout Factory
partnered with Nickelodeon to bring this television show (and numerous
others) to the market. Fans of Nickelodeon and CatDog will celebrate
like it is a tax free duty free weekend. I missed CatDog on television
when it originally ran.
The main character in CatDog Season 2 Part 2 is one half cat, and one
half dog. I wonder how it goes to the bathroom. There are greaser dog
characters, a rabbit mayor, and a blue hideous looking rat. The rat
almost looks like a demon to me. Viewers are treated to ten episodes in
CatDog Season 2 Part 2. Each episode is broken out into two shorter
episodes.
The total run time for CatDog Season 2 Part 2 is around four hours. The
cat and the dog have drastically different personalities. Usually things
go bad for them in CatDog Season 2 Part 2. The Surfin' CatDog episode is
one I personally really enjoyed. They became kings of the surf, and the
cat learned to love water.
Remember how I said each of the episodes are broken out into two
episodes? There is one exception in CatDog Season 2 Part 2. That episode
is A Very CatDog Christmas. Which to be blunt was not very good. Nothing
about baby Jesus, the manger, wise men, stars, etc. A disgruntled Santa
Claus is shown. As is the commercial nature of some people.
CatDog Season 2 Part 2 is a fine example of what happens when we are
selfish. Too often characters in this show are selfish concerning one
matter or another. It leads to trouble. That rat character (Winslow) is
horrible. He has a bad attitude, likes to harm others, and is down right
mean. Cliff's Little Secret shows that people can stand up to bully's
and win.
