Escape the Virus Swarm Survival
SCORE: 74
Teyon Games creates
some memorable downloadable games on the Nintendo hand held systems.
They have the pulse on what makes a good app and puts it on the DSi, and
3DS. Teyon Games also publishes games at very reasonable prices. Escape
the Virus Swarm Survival is two hundred Nintendo points. Two dollars in
real world money.
The point of Escape the Virus Swarm Survival is to collect as many
pieces of DNA as possible while avoiding the vicious viruses. Players do
that in two different modes. The first mode is normal, and the second is
baby. Normal is more difficult because the DNA trails behind us like one
of those snake games. Baby does not produce a trail and we can offload
it to a larger creature.
The graphics in Escape the Virus Swarm Survival are a complete
throwback. To be blunt the graphics in Escape the Virus Swarm Survival
look like a Gameboy Advance game to this reviewer. Escape the Virus
Swarm Survival includes some violence - in the form of the power ups we
receive. We can launch rockets at the viruses or turn into a long tail
of fire - to burn through them.
The music in Escape the Virus Swarm Survival is happy sounds that sound
similar to the circus. Escape the Virus Swarm Survival will count how
many pieces of DNA we get in a row. I had difficulty figuring this out
because of how quick that sound is. Players get so many lives and the
point of Escape the Virus Swarm Survival is to earn high scores.
Escape the Virus Swarm Survival is a throwback game in so many ways.
Another way of phrasing it is retro gaming. The point in Escape the
Virus Swarm Survival is to stay alive as long as possible. The longer I
played in a level the more difficult it became. Hardcore gamers will
find a challenge in Escape the Virus Swarm Survival.
Families can rest assured that the majority of Escape the Virus Swarm
Survival is safe. Especially the baby mode. If you can get past the fact
that the game is insulting you. What makes Escape the Virus Swarm
Survival so difficult in normal mode is if any part of the tail gets hit
then we lose that DNA and all of them after it. This led to more than
one frustrated moment on my part.
