Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle
Arcade is a great party game for families. There are plenty of fun
little games to be played. The various themes, characters, and
atmospheres is what will help this game gain some traction. Plus it is
one of the early Wii U titles. There are few party games on the Wii U
right now.
Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade is bright and colorful. The
characters look pretty good in this home console game. There is some
mild violence here and there in certain mini games. The music in Family
Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade is chipper and upbeat.
There is a little bear in Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade
who is our host. He is always so encouraging to the different players -
especially when they do something really well. He has comments about how
we may have a giant lead in the scoreboard, and wonders if we can hold
it.
Up to four family members decide if they want to play Challenge Mode or
Freeplay mode. If you do not have four family members willing to play,
then Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade will put in computer
controlled characters. The Wii U Gamepad is handed off between players.
Generally whoever wins a round gets to pick the next game. Some games
are played on the Wii U Gamepad by one player, and the three others use
the television set.
I notice a lot of back and forth with Family Party 30 Great Games
Obstacle Arcade. At one point I was using a Wii Remote, and then I had
to go and use Gamepad. Then I was back to the Wii Remote. Each mini
games contains an explanation on how to play them. They also have a
tutorial on a second menu screen down. That is where the controls are
actually explained. The controls in some of the mini games can be
confusing.
All in all Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade is a pretty solid
launch title. There are enough interesting and fun activities to warrant
hours of replay. Just to see all of the mini games and find out which
ones are your personal favorite. I am thankful I was allowed to play and
review Family Party 30 Great Games Obstacle Arcade on the Wii U.
