Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition
SCORE: 83
Swimming down the EAC
has been a dream of my oldest son for some years now. Thanks to Disney
and Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition he can now do it
on his Nintendo DS. He loved Finding Nemo when he was younger. Bruce
scared him so I had to skip past, or fast forward past the Bruce parts.
Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition on the Nintendo DS
does not look as good as it does on the Nintendo 3DS. I know my hubby
thinks the 3DS version looks like a DS port, but the 3DS version does
look better. I can recognize the characters from the movie in Finding
Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition. Background graphics in some
levels can be lacking.
The whole point of the thirty mini games in Finding Nemo Escape to the
Big Blue Special Edition is to collect the shells. Oh and unlocking
other characters. Once you complete all the mini games for one character
another one is unlocked. The shells are used to purchase fish and
scenery for the two aquariums. One is in the dentists office and the
other is in the ocean.
Kids really get into Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special
Edition. This DS game has mostly touch screen controls. Which
disappointed me after Paul showed me the circle pad controls he was able
to use in the bag escape levels. But many of the other levels are
exactly the same. Which made our comparisons much easier.
Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition is all about
creating your own aquatic areas. This is done by beating the mini games.
Although they are called mini games many of the levels in this Nintendo
DS game make me think of a console experience. They may be broken up,
but some of these levels can take some time.
I personally believe the DS version of Finding Nemo Escape to the Big
Blue Special Edition is more difficult than the 3DS version. Especially
the bag escape levels. Kids really get into the various mini games in
Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue Special Edition like hide and seek.
Only one family member can play Finding Nemo Escape to the Big Blue
Special Edition at a time.
