Jungle Picnic

Anyone ever tell you: "be careful what you
wish for because you just might get it?" The same thing goes for be
careful what you ask for because you just might get it. I asked our
illustrious leader for a different kind of a game to play. He came
through for me - BIG TIME! This is the first time since being a kid that
I am playing a kids game.
Jungle Picnic is a monkey based video game. Kids really like monkeys
don't they? I did some digging and found there are many monkey kids
games out there. Jungle Picnic also contains a giraffe and a zebra.
Because all three are known for being in the thick of the jungle. I'm
joking about that.
There are two things kids can do in Jungle Picnic. They can play the
three games, or they can go through the story book mode. The story book
mode also includes the three mini games at the appropriate times in the
story. Kids can learn colors, fruits, vegetables, and matching in Jungle
Picnic.
The voice actor in Jungle Picnic sounds Australian to me. Certain words
like zebra stick out in my mind. She does an appealing narration of
Jungle Picnic. She even throws in some emotion at the appropriate times.
Kids really dig her. The artwork in Jungle Picnic has a fun feel to it.
The touch screen controls of Jungle Picnic mainly consist of tapping
something and dragging it to the right spot. If you move over the wrong
item this iPad game will let you know in visuals and in sound. That
sound thing is important because my clodhopper hands blinded my view of
the visual cues.
