Kinect Sesame Street TV

God continues to bless us at Family Friendly Gaming in a variety of ways. I marvel daily at how many unique IP addresses check out what we have to say on a variety of products. I am amazed at all of the events we are invited to. I am humbled by the flood of products that come to us each and every single week. I am honored on a daily basis with how many encouraging emails we receive. I smile at many of the products companies are publishing.

Take Kinect Sesame Street TV for example. Microsoft Game Studios is making a bold statement with this Xbox 360 Kinect game. They are saying: "they acknowledge families have children, and they want to publish a product for them." We love to focus on things just like this here at Family Friendly Gaming.

Every single ignorant gamer who likes to say: "EC games are not published," needs to take a look at Kinect Sesame Street TV. This is an Early Childhood home console video game. Yes there are gaming elements to Kinect Sesame Street TV. This Kinect title is very kind to children in terms of making mistakes.

Certain portions of Kinect Sesame Street TV feel like an interactive television show. Children learn about letters, and numbers while moving around. There are segments in Kinect Sesame Street TV where children just watch what is going on. There are other parts that are interactive. The child can talk to the game, move around, and more.

Kinect Sesame Street TV has me thinking about the future of video games, and entertainment as a whole. The whole interactivity aspect of Kinect Sesame Street TV can be utilized in a variety of television shows. Could this be the future of gaming and television shows? I do not know, but I can see more of this in the future if Kinect Sesame Street TV sells well.

Kinect Sesame Street TV comes with two discs. Each disc contains four episodes. Each episode is around thirty minutes long. So we are talking around four hours of content in Kinect Sesame Street TV. However it comes with a one year season pass. Where families will have access to thousands of Sesame Street clips, music, videos, a personalized playlist, complete seasons of Abby's Fairy School, and Bert & Ernie's Great Adventures.

I saw a couple of lessons that parents may want to be briefed on. The first was one taught that it was okay for boys to play with girls toys. This can bother families concerned with gender confusion, and the decline of fatherhood. The other was references to the old earth belief system. In my opinion these are very minor, but I feel it is my duty to be sensitive to those who are offended by those teachings.

All in all I feel Kinect Sesame Street TV is a wonderful product that can provide families with a neat teaching tool on their Xbox 360's. I am very curious to see if this opens an entire new genre in the video game industry. What other shows will receive this kind of treatment in the coming months and years?
