I adore devices that let us save money. I
love devices that charge and free us from the cost of batteries. The
Play & Charge Kit for the Balance Board is one such device. If you are
anything like us here at Family Friendly Gaming - you have used your
Balance Board to death. I have lost track of how many times we have
changed the batteries.
Snakebyte USA has us covered with the Play & Charge Kit for the Balance
Board. This device comes in two parts. The nine foot charging cable, and
the LI-ION Battery. Two simple little things that work together.
Speaking of working together, this device can be used and charged at the
same time. I can think of some other hardware I would like to see that
work on.
One of the coolest parts of the Play & Charge Kit for the Balance Board
is it can charge in any USB port. We plugged it into an Xbox 360 (which
was off) to charge, an then used it on the Wii. This shows me that the
creators of the Play & Charge Kit for the Balance Board were thinking
outside the box. Why just do a plug in when any USB port can do.
The charge time of the Play & Charge Kit for the Balance Board was
quicker than I expected, and the charge lasted longer than I had hoped
for. How long exactly? We found it lasted around twenty hours on a
charge. And it took a few hours to charge. Bear in mind we can play it
and charge it at the same time.
I really like the Play & Charge Kit for the Balance Board. It is
inexpensive - fifteen dollars or less, and it lasts a long time. I wish
more companies would come up with simple little products like the Play &
Charge Kit for the Balance Board. It fits perfectly into the bottom of
the Balance Board, and saves families money in the long run.
