There is a reason E3 is called the Super
Bowl of Video Games. E3 is where the big boys play. E3 is where
connections are made between companies, media, and retailers. E3 is
where Family Friendly Gaming is. In all of the hustle and bustle of
setting up appointments Snakebyte USA was brought to my attention. And
we will be meeting with them to see their exciting new products.
But ya'll know me. I am always eager to bring reviews our millions of
readers as quickly as possible. A few weeks before E3 2012 we are
marching quickly to 2,900 products reviewed online. And always looking
to add more products to that extensive listing. A company with a name
like Snakebyte USA grabs the attention.
So the first product of theirs we are reviewing is the Premium Fitness
Board. This is in essence the Wii Balance Board on steroids. Before you
freak out about the steroids, let me explain that in the case of Premium
Fitness Board it is all good. This board is much more robust, and
spilling over with additional features.
What new features? A built in electronic scale with LCD scale that will
weigh you without the Wii console. It will also let you know how long
you have been playing. The Premium Fitness Board shows weight in pounds
and kilograms. The whole kilograms got me excited at first, but I knew
it was way too low.
As if the LCD was not enough there are two bars on the top sides of the
Premium Fitness Board. They are on the right side and the left side.
They glow a nice blue when we stand on the Premium Fitness Board. This
contrasts against the black background of the Premium Fitness Board
quite nicely. There is a white version of the Premium Fitness Board, but
they are currently out of stock.
The important thing with any balance board is how it feels. The Premium
Fitness Board feels great. I noticed immediately that the Premium
Fitness Board is much more sensitive than I was used to. I quickly
adapted and used this to my advantage. I found myself beating high
scores in balance games, and improving at balance games I used to have
problems with.
Balance games used to be a light work out for me. Thanks to Premium
Fitness Board I can get a good sweat going. This is good news for
families. I find the price of Premium Fitness Board to be very
reasonable, especially considering all of the improvements it contains.
It also has multiple purposes and can be used without the Wii. Please
note you will need four AA batteries to use the Premium Fitness Board.
