Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini is a cute
girls game on the Nintendo DSi. This hand held game also works on the
Nintendo 3DS. There are no 3D effects though. Which is fine since girls
under seven can get into Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini. This game is a
compilation of a few mini games.
Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini includes drawing, counting, finding
differences, lunch box, dress up, and coloring. Smart Girl’s Playhouse
Mini is a little heavy on the arts, but as someone who enjoys drawing I
did not mind. Lunch box has some neat animation after the girl picks
something for all four sections of the lunch box.
Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini has a pink look and feel to it. This will
resonate with the female side of gaming. I liked the color scheme, and
the images in this hand held game. The music fits Smart Girl’s Playhouse
Mini. I found the music to be fun, fresh, and upbeat.
The mini games in Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini are all pretty easy.
Finding differences can be more complex than some of the others
especially if you have problems finding the differences. However it is
easy to find it the next time - since the differences are the same.
The $4.99 price might be a bit high considering the amount of content.
The major replay comes from being able to draw, and color. Those two
have the longest legs to them. I am thankful that Family Friendly Gaming
was provided a download code of Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini for this
review. It is a neat little game that is slightly better than apps.
I would love to see sequels to Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini. Especially
if the depth of the game, and content is increased. I appreciate that
Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini saves after I quit on each drawing and
coloring sheet.
