The Santa Clause The Complete 3-Movie Collection
SCORE: 79
I had never seen The Santa Clause movies
before, so being able to review The Santa Clause The Complete 3-Movie
Collection was an exploration of a series I had never had anything to do
with before. I knew of Tim Allen's movies, but had never seen any of
them. There are a few reasons for this.
Some may wonder why I had never seen these Christmas movies before. The
main reason is I believe Christmas is about the birth of Jesus Christ. I
believe Easter is about His death and resurrection. So when it comes to
something like Santa Claus, I generally do not participate. It is a
distraction from the true and real meaning of Christmas and Easter.
I need to make an important point on something in The Santa Clause The
Complete 3-Movie Collection. There are three movies in this package. The
first one received a 'PG' rating, and the second two received 'G'
ratings. We list the highest rating at the bottom of this page.
The first movie in The Santa Clause The Complete 3-Movie Collection is
all about the torch being passed. One Santa falls off the roof, and the
man who finds the clothes puts them on, reads the card and becomes the
next Santa. He tries to deny it as a dream, but must accept it fulfill
his role. Because he does not want to disappoint children.
The second movie in The Santa Clause The Complete 3-Movie Collection is
about trouble with his son and being in two places at once. A toy clone
version of Santa is created. The main character must also find a wife to
be the new Mrs. Claus. Rules are enforced in the second movie, and that
is a major theme.
The third movie is about Jack Frost wanting to be Santa Claus. Santa is
also about ready to have a baby with Mrs. Claus. Her parents are invited
up to the North Pole. All of the work, stress, and problems create a
nearly impossible situation for all involved. But family fights through,
and family sticks together.
The Santa Clause The Complete 3-Movie Collection teaches a variety of
lessons. Some of them are how damaging divorce is, how wacky shrinks
are, following rules is bad, a belief in Santa, and children deserve
presents whether they have been good or not. There are also lessons on
how important family, love, and caring for others is.
