Transformers Prime The Game is the closest
thing to being inside a cartoon show. At least on the Wii. Activision
has put this game together extremely well. It is easy to transform,
shoot the guns, and interact with the human characters. The same plots
and themes from the show are in Transformers Prime The Game.
The videos that help tell the story in Transformers Prime The Game are
amazing. I was geeking out as I would find hidden Cybertron artifacts in
this Wii game. I cherished the interaction between the characters. The
personalities and attitudes come across masterfully.
Transformers Prime The Game is a violent game. We are shooting,
punching, and blowing up other robots. End boss characters are able to
get away from the fray after we take away their life bar - usually to
kidnap a human. Which sets up another level in most cases.
The majority of the controls in Transformers Prime The Game work
flawlessly on the Wii. Attacking up close is the one exception. This
gave me more fits than anything else. It is a simple swipe down motion.
You know aggressive game players. We want to go psycho on an enemy so we
can get past the fighting and progress to the good parts of the game. I
had issues with the close combat not working. I spent more time locking
on, and firing a gun until their health was gone.
The voices in Transformers Prime The Game come directly from the series.
The storyline feels like it also comes from the show. I have only seen
season one from the show, so Transformers Prime The Game may be based
off of a real television show. If not, my hat is off to the writers over
at Activision.
The amount of unlockable and achievement content in Transformers Prime
The Game is absolutely insane. I can not believe how many images,
videos, and more are inside this home console video game. Transformers
Prime The Game is one of those experiences that transcend the show and
can reach those who are not even into Transformers Prime.
