Friendly Gaming was provided an amazing blessing recently. A reviewable
copy of 2 movie collection The Little Mermaid Ariel's Beginning The
Little Mermaid II. This contains one movie before The Little Mermaid,
and one movie after. The rebellious streak is shown quite clearly in
these movies.
I already reviewed The Little Mermaid II recently. That review can be
found easily on this
site. To sum up that movie, Ariel learns what it
feels like for their child to disrespect and rebel against them. The
actions should have come as no surprise since it is her daughter.
The Little Mermaid Ariel's Beginning was very interesting to me. I do
not remember seeing this movie before. We learn all about Ariel's
mother, and what happened to her. It changed the king. He never healed
from it. The queen his wife, and best friend loved music. He could no
longer bear to listen to music after her death.
So the kingdom went silent and solemn. No music was allowed. Ariel went
to great lengths in her disobedience to get him to change his mind.
Finally laughter was heard again in the palace halls. Losing joy can be
a very difficult thing for anyone. Coming back from that dark place can
be even more difficult.
Excellent songs and dance can be seen and heard in 2 movie collection
The Little Mermaid Ariel's Beginning The Little Mermaid II. Each movie
has its own bonus features section. They are a bit light, but then you
are getting both movies on Blu-ray, and both movies on DVD. Please note
there are two DVD discs. One movie per DVD.
Mermaids wear seashell bikini tops, and the mermen have no tops on at
all. The sea life have fantastic animations, and the voice acting is top
notch. The stories in 2 movie collection The Little Mermaid Ariel's
Beginning The Little Mermaid II are very emotionally gripping. Different
people will relate to different characters depending on where they are
in life.
