One of the
coolest things about being the editor in chief at Family Friendly Gaming
is getting to see so much diversity within our industry. Yes I deal with
the massive family friendly section of the video game industry. I deal
with huge companies, and small companies. I play massive games, and I
play very simple games.
I believe there is room in our industry for both massive, and casual
games. Different strokes for different folks. Arcade Classics 3D is a
downloadable game on the Nintendo 3DS that contains multiple games in
it. The games within Arcade Classics 3D are Jewels, Blocks, SWAP, Pop It
Up, Impacts, and Bounce & Breaks.
Your family will know these games by different names. Things like
Tetris, Asteroids, Break-Out, and more. Arcade Classics 3D contains
solid renditions of these classic games. There may not be all the
presentation of a complete remake by Atari, or Nintendo. But they are
fun nonetheless.
The whole app concept has dug deep into the psyche of the gamer. Arcade
Classics 3D is a lot like an app in many ways. Easy to navigate screens.
Simple to pick up and play games. Cute robotic character to play with.
Okay so maybe that is not an app thing. But it could be.
Arcade Classics 3D is also a very cheap downloadable 3D game to purchase
on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS. The 3D effects are impactful in a
way families will appreciate. Arcade Classics 3D is also a hand held
game that is safe for the entire family. There is rock busting in
asteroids - if that is even considered violence.
