Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is on the Playstation 3, Personal Computer and Xbox 360. Family Friendly Gaming is using the Xbox 360 version for this review. Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is a downloadable game between three hundred and four hundred megs.

Minnie Mouse gets kidnapped by a witch in Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse. It is up to Mickey to collect the seven gems in the Castle of Illusion to get to the witch. Mickey's goal is to save Minnie by stopping the witch. There are numerous levels to go through, and many bosses.

Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is a challenging game. Especially near the end. Once you learn the patterns and weaknesses of the bosses they are a breeze. Which means you will die repeatedly until you figure that out. With that said Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse can be beaten in around four hours.

The animations in Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse are stellar. I love seeing how Mickey, and all the different creatures move around in this downloadable home console game. I do question the collision detection at times. I jumped over some enemies and landed behind them. I then took a hit. This did not happen all the time though.

The narrator in Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is really cool. He progresses the story as the player enters certain areas, bosses, etc. I cut him off on more than one occasion by accident. Like when he was going over the boss I just beat - I grabbed the gem, and that stopped the talking.

Players can replay Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse to collect all of the items, find the secret areas, etc. You will feel some satisfaction after completing certain levels, and bosses. Especially the end boss. All in all Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is a fun game for most ages of the family.
