Coaster Crazy Deluxe
SCORE: 82
Coaster
Crazy Deluxe mixes the graphical style of Order Up, and puts it on a
roller coaster creation game. Players go to different areas to build
different roller coasters. Each space contains certain challenges the
player tries to reach. Things like be upside down for so many seconds.
The more players complete all of the challenges the more content they
unlock. The more content that is unlocked the better players can make
their roller coasters. Which is important when a point thresh hold needs
to be met as one of the goals.
I need to warn families about a couple of things in Coaster Crazy
Deluxe. Characters will vomit visibly on the screen if you rock and roll
them too much. This can be turned off. But it is turned on as the
default. When you are done building the roller coaster you will go
through it in first person view. It might make you feel ill.
The people in Coaster Crazy Deluxe are called crazies. Players can eject
them, cause them to crash and fall to their demise. They keep coming
back for more. This is part of their charm, and where Coaster Crazy
Deluxe attempts to be humorous. Yes Hugh Morris.
Coaster Crazy Deluxe has bright and colorful graphics. It has a near
circus kind of feel to the sounds. The physics are really neat to
experiment with in this Wii U game. The controls are easy to pick up,
and use. There are more than enough areas and modes to warrant the $9.99
price tag.
