Fury of the Gods

If you took Tower of Babel, made it 3D, and put in Greek mythology deities then you would get Fury of the Gods. People are coming up to throw down the false temples of the Greek gods. Players must smash the humans with their powerful finger, throw lightning at them, and other things to kill them all off.

Fury of the Gods got me thinking. If the Greek gods murdered off all the people - who would be left to serve them? Are those buildings really that important? Does the loss of a building diminish their power? Even if you fail at a level you are provided some gold. This will be important later on.

The 3D effects, pinching and zooming in Fury of the Gods impressed me. The polygons in Fury of the Gods are not at the level of say the Nintendo 3DS or the Playstation Vita. Still these half naked people did impress me. The blood and death - not so much so. I felt bad every time I killed one of them. Who am I to say they should die? They are probably on the side of good.

Why is earning gold so important in Fury of the Gods? Gold in Fury of the Gods is used to purchase power ups, and to upgrade existing skills. Players will need to grind to upgrade certain skills to make Fury of the Gods easier to play. This game starts hard, and gets tougher as players progress.

Fury of the Gods is a little light on levels, and different worlds to play in. But for those that enjoy getting up close and personal in their tower defense games - there is some satisfaction. The more you upgrade the easier Fury of the Gods is. Having to constantly check different paths to the temple keeps gamers on their toes.

All in all Fury of the Gods is an interesting tower defense game that is slightly outside the norm. Hardcore gamers will happily step up to the challenge. I will give an important tip to our readers - zoom in, and tap like crazy on the people. That was my recipe for success in Fury of the Gods.
