Johnny Impossible

Johnny is back in Johnny Impossible on the Nintendo 3DS. The Mr. Wang Gang plans to use a super laser to destroy Solid City. It is up to the super stealthy spy Johnny Impossible to save the day. Infiltrate the facility and stop the super laser from going off. Failure means the destruction of the city.

Johnny Impossible is a nice looking Nintendo 3DS game when we are talking 3D. Johnny can go into doors and disappear. Then he can come back to the forefront. It would have been fantastic if this was exploited more, but hey this downloadable hand held video game only costs $5.99. Decent price for the content found in Johnny Impossible.

The whole key behind Johnny Impossible is time. Players have so much time to defeat a level. The second key behind this game is stealth. If enemy cameras or robots see you, then you lose time. Players can also lose their lives. Then a choice is presented; lose five minutes of time and continue, or quit. Players can save at any point in Johnny Impossible. So in essence it would mean going back to your last save.

UFO Interactive took time to add some humor in Johnny Impossible which is a wonderful thing in my book. It adds character to a fascinating character who is getting all kinds of different games. Johnny Impossible is not an easy game. Players have to be nearly perfect in every aspect.

Johnny Impossible reminds me of some games from the past. Metal Gear comes to mind due to the entire stealth aspect. Players are able to use a stun gun to stun things like enemy robot sentries. Johnny Impossible also makes me think of older games because it makes us memorize what to do in each room to progress. This is not a bad thing, in fact I welcome it. It adds to the replay value to this 3DS game.

When it is all said and done I like Johnny Impossible. There is a lot to like about it. We stun the enemies instead of kill them. We are avoiding violent confrontations whenever possible. We learn how to improve from our mistakes and do a better job the second time. I do advise our readers to save early and often in Johnny Impossible. Use the three save slots to help you progress through this game.
