Kick Beat

Kick Beat is the most fascinating rhythm game on the Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita. Players take on the role of a martial artist who fights off hordes of bad guys. Players stand on a yin yang symbol, and the bad guys are all around. They circle their way into one of the four buttons (X,O,triangle, and square).

Players press the right button(s) as the enemy enters the circle showing the button on the screen. Good timing will produce a martial arts attack. Bad timing will result in your character taking a hit. Take too much damage and it is game over.

The last character of the attacking string will receive extra special punishment. The game shows this in a close up mode. Kick Beat accentuates the violence at that point only. The action is so fast and frantic that players will not even notice the violent content.

Music is an extremely subjective thing. Some people will love the music in Kick Beat, and others will hate it. I strongly recommend that you research the songs, artists, and music in Kick Beat before making a purchase. If you like what they say, stand for, and do then purchase it. If you disagree with what they are teaching, believe in, and who they attack then pass on it. Too many gaming sites are sounding off on the music based on their personal tastes. Family Friendly Gaming wants you to make an informed decision based on lyrics, sound, style, and your personal preferences.

Kick Beat includes some mild enticement to lust in the terms of the female character. Kick Beat is a game for teenagers and older based on the lyrical issues, violence, and sexually suggestive content. There is another reason Kick Beat is for the older members of the family - difficulty. Kick Beat is one tough game. There is so much going on, and it is easy to get off track.
