Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2
SCORE: 80
It has
been a long time coming in terms of a review for Kinect Nat Geo TV
Season 2. We started playing this game back in January 2013. For some
reason the episodes were released at staggered dates. Two would come out
every single month. We have now played all that the system will let us
play.
Do not worry if you do not have Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 1. Kinect Nat
Geo TV Season 2 can be played as an app. This will require around 1.2
gig, and an Internet connection to stream the episodes. Fans of the
first season will feel right at home in the second season.
Sadly some of the problems from season one are carried across into
Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2. Saying 'SNAP,' does not work unless you are
almost on top of the Kinect sensor. This can lead to frustration in the
family members playing this Kinect title. I know I got frustrated, and
so did my kids.
Dr. Brady Barr takes over the hosting role in Kinect Nat Geo TV Season
2. I do not mind the change up, but miss the first guy. Dr Brady Barr is
just as crazy as the last guy, more so in some areas. He gets into a
crocodile suit, and a hippo suit to get close to real live animals in
the wild. Very dangerous in my opinion.
Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2 is really reptile heavy. There are a few
different shows like the jumbo squid. The mini games are much harder in
Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2. They can also be more exhausting. So it
might be something you have the kids do to tire them out.
I am not a fan of the streaming methodology in Kinect Nat Geo TV Season
2. It does not also buffer right. Lag, and lock ups can be issues from
time to time. Some days Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2 worked better than
others. When it does work it is wonderful to go through an episode.
I still tremendous potential in this kind of a video game/television
show hybrid. Kinect Nat Geo TV Season 2 shows what the future of gaming
and television could be.
