Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX contains Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts RE:Chain of Memories, and HD cinematics from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. So two games that have been remastered, and cinematics remastered from another game.

Expect to see many of the same areas, characters, and scenes in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. If you have played the previous versions of the games then you know what to expect out of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. This Playstation 3 version looks better graphically.

If you are unfamiliar with the Kingdom Hearts series, then Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is a great introduction. You meet Sora - the chosen one. He wields the Keyblade. Disney characters and Final Fantasy characters are woven together in this story across worlds.

The worlds you can expect to find in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX are Agrabah, Atlantica, Halloween Town, Monstro, Never Land, Olympus Coliseum, 100 Acre Wood, Wonderland, and more. Families will enjoy characters from Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, Hercules, Pinnochio, and more.

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix is the main game in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX in my opinion. It is the game the other two revolve around. Expect new weapons, items, Heartless enemies, abilities, recipes, and more. Kingdom Heart Re:Chain of Memories is a card based game. Cards are used to power things like the attacks. It feels like Kingdom Hearts just a bit different. The whole card aspect to the game was not to my personal liking.

Watching the cinematics only to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days made my brain churn. I wound up wishing I could just watch the cinematics to the other two. If we could skip all the fighting in the third game, why not the first two as well? Maybe a movie is coming soon. A guy can hope can't he?

The fighting in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX gets old, especially when we have to fight off so many of the same looking characters. I breezed through the fighting as fast as possible so I could get to the next piece of the story. Square Enix did a wonderful job of mixing in Disney content.

The music and voice acting are top notch in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. I enjoyed hearing the characters in all of their diversity. Especially characters like Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey Mouse. Their distinctive sounds are represented well in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX.

It can take some time to progress through the games in Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. Families will find there is more than enough content to warrant the entry price. As long as you have never played these games before. If you already own them, it can be a tougher sell.
