Leviathan Warships

Leviathan Warships is a turn based naval combat game that has recently made it to the iPad. Made it from where you might be asking. From the Personal Computer. But Leviathan Warships is more than just a port. You can save your PC game on the cloud and pick it up on the iPad. Which is a really neat concept. Yes I know its not a new concept.

Parents need to pay attention to the rating in Leviathan Warships. Your ship has the ability to shoot other ships. After your ship has drained the other ships health it will sink. Fires will erupt on the ships during battles. I did not notice any people, even though I zoomed in during the violent content.

I suggest most gamers go through the tutorial before jumping into the water. Certain controls, and concepts in Leviathan Warships will lead you to victory faster. You just need to learn how to do them first. It is very important to pay attention to the goal of your missions in Leviathan Warships.

The menu screens in Leviathan Warships exhibit an intelligent design. The different characters are interesting, and the special effect sounds fit the theme of this naval warfare game perfectly. Strategy comes into play when you are moving around and trying to hit another moving object.

Leviathan Warships is a little lighter on strategy than most of Paradox Interactive's games. It does however give the player more action, and is easier to learn. So there is a definite trade off. I can see Leviathan Warships reaching a different portion of the population.

I enjoyed my time with Leviathan Warships. It is a different kind of a game for me to play. The fog of war aspect to this game means dangers can be right around that island. Usually they were waiting for me too. I had to learn to quickly adapt to the enemy to survive. Turning the other cheek did not provide success in Leviathan Warships.
