Moke Moke
SCORE: 82
Moke Moke may have the oddest sounding
name. However it is an interesting Nintendo DSi game (playable on a
Nintendo 3DS as well) that reminds me of games like tag. There are
variations in Moke Moke, but the main theme is to capture gems. We then
take the gems to a treasure chest of play keep away with the other
players.
Moke Moke allows for four friends to play together. If you do not have
four friends then computer controlled characters are inserted. Moke Moke
is a multiplayer game. Sort of like Dollar Dash. There are definite
differences like Moke Moke allows for different kinds of game play.
We may have to avoid bombs or bubbles in Moke Moke. All of these options
are easily selectable like the arena we play in. The coolest thing (to
me) about Moke Moke is how the characters can fly through the air. This
mechanic in Moke Moke reminds me of Kirby games. Especially when we
float back to the ground.
Scoring the most points in the rounds in Moke Moke does not insure a
victory. At the end of the rounds there are bonus points awarded for the
most aggressive player (the one who attacked the most). There is also an
award for the player who flew the most. In other words who was airborne
the most.
There are cute little graphics in Moke Moke. They can whack one another
with their arms. There is no blood or gore though. This downloadable
game is also extremely cheap at $1.99 or 200 Nintendo points. Just bear
in mind Moke Moke is best as a multi-player game.
