Monopoly has been a family favorite for some time now. It can lead to arguments at times. Thankfully it can also lead to a lot of family fun. Skylanders has become a recent way for families to spend time together. What happens when the two are put together?

Until recently I did not know there were so many different kinds of Monopoly games out there. USAopoly has provided for almost every kind of taste. I am very impressed with the products they have put on the marketplace. Monopoly Skylanders is one of them.

The artwork on Monopoly Skylanders is fantastic. The different types are put together for the different colors. There are a few undead characters in Monopoly Skylanders. Thankfully Monopoly Skylanders is not as heavy into that as the video games are.

The pieces we play with are Kaos, Swords, Cannon, Sheep, Pirate Ship and Chompy. That way no one is arguing over who gets to be the race car. Now they can argue over who is the Pirate Ship, or Chompy, or Swords, or Cannon, or you get the idea.

As I write this review, Monopoly Skylanders is selling for forty dollars. A bit pricey for a board game in my humble opinion. But if you are into Skylanders, and into Monopoly then it will be a good buy for you. Specialized boards like Monopoly Skylanders have the potential of going up in price in the coming years.
