Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed

I will be the first to admit I know very little about the Moshi Monsters franchise. I have played some games based on it over the years, but that is about it. Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed is a very interesting Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS hand held video game.

Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed is a side scrolling action adventure platformer like New Super Mario Bros. Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed is a bit on the easy side. This is good since kids are the target audience. They will need less assistance in playing this hand held game.

All of the Moshi Monsters are captures except for Katsuma. So he goes on a quest in Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed to free all of his friends. Cause they were left in cages all over the six worlds in this 3DS/DS video game. I know it would make more sense if he kept them all in the same prison. But then kids would have less reason to explore the levels in Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed.

The 3D effects in Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed are insane. It is crazy how good they look, especially on the map screen. Know what else is crazy good in Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed? The music. It is upbeat, exciting, and fun to listen to. Players will not sleep through this game if they have the music turned on.

Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed contains action adventure violence. The character can use powers, spin, and butt stomp the enemies away. They vanish from the screen after the player attacks them. Boss characters are the only ones that have to be attacked. Meaning players can avoid violence during the levels.

Kids really enjoy Moshi Monsters Katsuma Unleashed. It may not have all of the polish or depth of a New Super Mario Bros; it is however a solid platformer with numerous levels to explore. There are plenty of characters to unlock, and check out in Moshipedia.
