Mr Crab is a fun little running and jumping app on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Players take on the role of Mr Crab. They move to the left/right as long as he can. They jump over obstacles, collect little crabs, and get to the end of the levels. The circular nature of the levels is pretty cool.

The art work in Mr Crab is nice looking. We can jump on the top of critters to make them hop off the path. Certain things like crabs and birds in nests will launch us skyward in Mr Crab. The end object is at the top of the level. We can run into the animals and we fall down a level.

The presentation in Mr Crab is much better than I was expecting. The entertainment value is there for those that enjoy fun little games. The music is fun, fresh, vibrant, and alive. I enjoy hopping all around in Mr Crab. I found I had to do a lot of hopping since jumping in a required skill in this game.

Younger kids had problems with all of the jumping in Mr Crab. I also had to teach them to hit certain objects to knock them down from higher levels. This is the only way to progress in certain levels. Mr Crab has quick little tutorial moments explaining how to do things like jumping.

Mr Crab is a fun little app worth the ninety-nine cents. I hope to see more levels than forty-four come in the future. The concept of Mr Crab is solid, and this hand held title is safe for all ages. Illusions Labs has another solid title under their belt. Family Friendly Gaming Nation expects great things from them for years to come.
