Nascar The Game 2013

Sometimes
I wonder if anyone actually reads my reviews. Hour put into playing a
game, then hours on the review, and then Proofing makes changes, and
finally the editing. Quite a few man hours put into imparting
impressions and opinions. At times I see game after game repeat the same
mistakes I called out years ago.
Then a game like Nascar The Game 2013 comes out on the Personal Computer
and I know there is at least one company out there listening. There is
at least one company paying attention. How do I know this? They
implemented improvements that I requested in home console versions of
the game.
If you are a PC gamer and love Nascar then Nascar The Game 2013 is the
game for you. There are numerous real world racers, tracks, cars, and
more in this game. Nascar The Game 2013 looks amazing on the PC too. It
should since it is over eight gigs. The crew chief is astounding. He
makes it feel real - most of the time.
Nascar The Game 2013 makes it more difficult to turn around and go the
opposite direction. When I did I received multiple verbal reprimands.
Nothing nasty, more of we do not do that here, and you are better than
this. Nascar The Game 2013 made me feel guilty about creating such
massive destruction. This is one of the things I like about this game.
I love it when a video game encourages us to good behavior. Nascar The
Game 2013 does that in spades. It even recommends we let other racers
pass us on the right, left, above, or below. This kind of good
sportsmanship is not in every sports game. I appreciate seeing this kind
of effort.
If you have played the home console version of Nascar The Game 2013 then
there is little new for you. Expect the same solid racing game. The PC
version of Nascar The Game 2013 looks better, and includes a bit more.
If you are enjoying it on another system it is tough to recommend it on
the PC.
The controls feel a little tighter to me on the PC version of Nascar The
Game 2013. It may have something to do with the PC game controller we
have versus controllers on the home console machines. I found it easier
to stay off the walls in this version. Bashing into other cars was
another story altogether. That takes some time and skill.
