Pilot Brothers 2
SCORE: 76
The Pilot Brothers are back on the iPad in Pilot Brothers 2. The
interactive puzzle game continues to please fans and confound critics.
The solutions to the puzzles do not always make sense. Until they are
completed at least. There is a movie button that will show you exactly
what needs to be done.
Pilot Brothers 2 requires the player re-enacts the video clip. There is
also a hint button that shows all of the items that can be interacted
with. There are a limited number of items but they have to be used in
the right order. If you choose the wrong order then you are stuck on
that screen.
The movie button really helps the game play in Pilot Brothers 2. Still
it feels like an all or nothing to me. It makes sense to just sit there
and wait for the movie button to load. I messed up a few screens really
bad, and I wish I had waited for the solution. Sort of like messing
around with a Rubik Cube and getting it all mangled.
The art work in Pilot Brothers 2 is an acquired taste. I am not a fan of
this style and it seems to be really grainy. I understand this is not a
Wii U, Playstation 4, or Xbox One game; but I still expected a bit more
from a game on the iPad. The humor continues in Pilot Brothers 2. Some
of it can a bit on the gross side.
Fans of these kind of cinematic puzzle games will celebrate and enjoy
Pilot Brothers 2. Fans of older PC puzzle games may also take an
interest in Pilot Brothers 2. Parents will have to help children in
solving the puzzles in Pilot Brothers 2. They may even experience
irritation trying to solve screens in this app. I did.
