Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land

D3 Publisher has created one tough game for hardcore gamers in the form of Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land. This Nintendo 3DS hand held video game will also appeal to fans of the Regular Show television show. I can also see certain groups offended by Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land.

Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land starts out with the two main characters being given their work instructions for the day. They need to mow the lawn. They decide instead to open a package on the front porch. It is an old video game machine. So they openly reject authority, become totally selfish, and play the game.

It is ironic to me that Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land presents playing video games as a selfish act. This is the very thing every gamer playing this 3DS game is doing. It is an interesting statement on video games, and something that gamers may discuss for years.

Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land starts as a 2D side scrolling adventure. Later levels include things like shooter levels. Meaning you blast away enemies with laser beams. Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land is one tough game. Do not expect hints or achievements.

After a level is beaten there is a fun little mini game. Players put up to three coins on the paths. They will travel down the paths, and reach the end. The goal is to guess where there are items like more money, extra lives, etc. This is all random, and becomes costly to the players in game wallet since a coin costs fifty dollars.

Money is strewn throughout the levels as well as hidden items like VCR tapes. You will work very hard to collect all of those hidden items. What makes matters worse is Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land is one hit kills. Make one mistake, and it is back to the beginning or the last continuation flag.

It did not take me long to realize I was doing the same things over and over again in Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land. It did not let me keep the things I collected unless I finished the level or found a new continuation flag. This quickly led to frustration.

What is more frustrating is trying to figure out how to beat the bosses in Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land. Casual gamers will want to skip Regular Show Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land. Playing it will only increase their blood pressure. This hand held game may become a cult classic with hardcore gamers.
