Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure

Mixing the Scribblenauts Universe with the DC Universe might be one of the best ideas I have heard all year long. These two fit together masterfully well. I am very thankful Family Friendly Gaming was provided a reviewable copy on the Wii U. This is also a game that will be a system seller.

Let me warn you about one thing concerning Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure. Do not play this game while you are tired. Players lose 50% of the points if they re-use words in a specific location. So play this home console game when the creative juices are flowing.

There are over two thousand DC characters in Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure. That is one massive amount of content to play with. Not only that, but players can come up with their own items to solve problems. There are multiple paths to success in Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure.

My one quibble about the multiple ways is it does not apply on bosses. There is generally one path to victory with them. Take for example Metallo captures Lois and Jimmy, and hooks them up to explosives. I freeze Metallo, and send in Booster Gold to save the day. Once Metallo is defeated I get told I can quit or retry. The game gave me a hint of pulling Metallo off the right side of the building. I made him mini and froze him. Yet I could not pick him up. There was a set path I had to take to beat him.

Since this is the DC Universe that is a lot more violent content. I learned to be careful in Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure. If I got too crazy attacking I would accidentally hit a hero I had called in. They would then decide to attack me. I had to move them into the trash can to avoid dying.

There are multiple locales and tons of missions to complete in Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure. The foundation of this Wii U game is fixing problems for other characters. Your magic notebook can bring anything into existence. Families can even create their very own super heroes. They can be shared online with the rest of the gaming community.

Families that own a Wii U will definitely be looking at Scribblenauts Unmasked - A DC Comics Adventure this Christmas. The ability to think, learn, and be creative are the best parts of this home console game. Helping others and saving the day comes a close second.
